Support Local
While on furlough, I started doing small projects for all types of people/businesses. There’s a big push to support local and me and Luiz always try to do this because we love all the small cafes and hole in the wall restaurants where we live. We love the businesses that make where we live a place worth living in.
And we don’t want to lose them.
“How does this connect with you and your projects, Rovinya?” I hear you ask.
Well, as some of you may know, my parents bought Rowan Lodge in County Leitrim, Ireland back in 2018 and my Aunt and Uncle run it.
After the worst of the ‘Coronarfuffle’ of 2020, Ireland’s up and running again. And form the moment lockdown measures were eased, they’ve been experiencing a boom of airbnb lodging.
So, after all their hard work (and with many amazing reviews) we wanted to share it with more people.
We’ve slowly built up a backlog of images and reviews to create a social media presence.
I’ve also printed out some cards to help guests promote what they loved about their stay!
“Rowan Lodge is a beautiful lakeside log cabin situated in the charming setting of Drumcoura Lake resort, three miles from Ballinamore, Ireland. Two hours from Dublin, it is the perfect setting for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life and take some time to readjust and self centre”
Please give us a hand and go follow their social media and - after lockdown measures ease - visit!
