100 Day Challenge

“Practise makes perfect” That is what someone once said and I as a designer have decided to complete ‘The 100 day challenge.’ Why not sketch a different design every day for the next one hundred days?

Design is a constant learning curve and practise is never a waste of time. Here are just a few reasons why I am going to do this Challenge:

  1. First and foremost, I design and create with pen and paper and I want to master my tools of the trade. I will choose a different technique each day whether it is render, shade, perspective, shape, enhancement etc.

  2. Product Design is a balance of creativity and problem solving. This challenge will train my creativity skills and attention to detail.

  3. I will take twenty to thirty minutes each day and dedicate it to sketching. Taking this time each and everyday will help me tackle real life tasks and briefs more effectively in the future & have better time-management skills.

  4. Finally, by the end I will have created a kind of shortfolio of my designs, aesthetics and style.

Start Date: 01/12/16

End Date: TBC
