New Job

Sorry I’ve been so quiet on here; I know it’s been a while… BUT!

“I have news!”

First off, Luiz and I have moved in to our own little home in Brighouse! (CUE THE STREAMERS AND HAPPY TRUMPET NOISES!)

We’ve spent months designing, fitting, painting and decorating the entire apartment. We even fitted a new kitchen ourselves! And by ourselves I mean Luiz and my dad did most of it (but I played the role of manager)

BUT that’s not all…

The most exciting (maybe) news is - I’ve started as a creative designer for an agency in Leeds!

All of you know I loved the freelance life - but I felt as if I needed a more permanent job. The hustle of freelance is amazing, but after a while you need to learn how to work with people again. Team work makes the dream work - as they say.

And talking about my new team, let me tell you about her.  Yes her, since there’s only one other designer!

Her name is Erin and she’s from Scotland and we couldn’t get along any better. And the Scottish brogue is a definite plus.

Right now I’m working on a project for the Leeds chapter of Barnardos. We’re helping them create their new ‘Parent and carer Programme.’ So Erin and I have been working together to make the program a success in both print and digital.

I’m loving it and I can’t wait to see what projects come our way!
